Notice of our end of year shutdown
The registry of the Building Appeals Board (Board) will be closed from 5:00pm on Friday, 23 December 2022 and reopen at 9:00am on Tuesday, 3 January 2023.
Please note that in light of the strict time limits prescribed by the Building Regulations 2018 by which you must file your appeal application, if you intend to file an appeal during this period you may continue to do so by emailing it to email@example.com. The filing date of the appeal will be recorded as the date the email is sent. For more information on appeal time limits, please refer to regulation 271 of the Building Regulations 2018 or contact us on the details below during our business hours.
Applications made to the Board for a Fast Track Appeal that are emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org during this time will continue to be responded to within two (2) business days of receipt, in accordance with section 147 of the Building Act 1993.
Please further note that all non-urgent enquiries and the filing of all other applications or documents sent to us by email or post during this time will be attended to after the registry reopens on Tuesday, 3 January 2023 at 9:00 am.
